The Barn at Smugglers’ Notch has hosted rehearsal dinners for couples that are getting married in the Stowe, Vermont region. Often, a couple will come to us to book our venue, but we are already booked for their date. They asked us to host a fabulous welcome event the day before the wedding. We had NYC client couple that came to us and were disappointed that we could not host their wedding, due to the date already booked. They hosted their wedding at another venue, however hosted their rehearsal dinner at The Barn. . A 7 piece Salsa band was flown up from Miami. A custom menu was created with our executive chef and included ceviche stations and themed dishes based upon the family’s heritage. Appetizers and cocktails were passed on the covered patio and great lawn. We curated a custom wine list to with this delectable cuisine. Afterwards, the party lasted long into the night, with guests dancing to the incredible band. Feedback received was that our welcome event was the pinnacle of the weekend long wedding celebration.”
